I seem to get my weekdays and weekends mixed up! I’m lucky and the kids sleep till just before 8 so that means I get to as well…on Saturday’s I’ve signed up for an early training session that has me (gasp!) setting an alarm for 6:45! I’m liking the double workouts – it’s more efficient as I’m only driving to the gym 4 days a week instead of 6 and getting the same amount of work done – I can do some cardio work here on the “off” days – yay for saving gas and time!
After today’s workout it was time for a quick smoothie (whey/water/blueberries) and then I headed out to gather this weeks groceries – I seemed to be out of everything!
I also made a quick stop at the seafood store for some wild cod – my new favorite thing – and found they actually carry grass fed beef as well!
While waiting for my cod to cook I devoured some raspberries – they tasted like candy – so delish! My trainer has suggested that I try and limit fruit intake to 2 servings per day and those should be before noon. We’re trying some modifications to my diet to try and jump start weight loss again. For my cod I cooked this piece in the frying pan with a TINY amount of coconut oil and then once it was cooked I added some garlic spice and hot sauce. I’ve also started using My Fitness Pal again to try and solve the weight loss stall mystery – judging by today I don’t think I was eating enough calories! Let’s hope this helps get things moving again!

My very first time eating brussel sprouts! Recipe coming soon! Pretty good for my first time tasting them!
My mom and aunt have begun reading and following the Wheat Belly plan and they’ve been enjoying some of my paleo recipes as a result. After making the banana bread my mom sent me a text telling me that she was buying me a Kitchen Aid mixer to make my baking easier – yes please!!
So today this beauty arrived and I cleared a special place on the counter for it. The microwave had to go and I’m loving the open counter space – plus this is much nicer to look at than a giant white box! Oh all the creations I can make with this!! One of the commenters on Instagram said she uses her to shred her chicken – genius!
It’s been a productive day around these parts – I even squeezed a trip to good ol’ walmart in for some Easter things for the kids – they don’t like candy so I got some little toys to fill their eggs and then magic my bill was $200 – seriously how does that happen!! I may attempt a hair coloring session later if I’m feeling brave – crazy Saturday nights over here!
So – do you stack your workouts? Do you find any benefit from doing do?

You are going to get “unstuck” pretty quickly with double work-outs.
Woohoo!!! KitchenAid mixer! I LOVE mine! Best thing to happen to my baking since…since I started baking LOL!
Awesome job on the double workout!!!
I usually do a CrossFit workout in the morning and run on the treadmill after. I see way better results when I run after! I love my kitchen aid, but I try not to bake too much… I miss it actually. Even with Paleo baking the calories add up. (PS- shredding chicken with it is ABSOLUTELY amazing. for real)
