So I’m sure you’ve figured out I live in Canada – right now it’s COLD here. Basically if I don’t have an appointment with my trainer I try not to leave my house! I was too cheap to put snow tires on my car and driving on snowy days just isn’t too fun….oh and did I mention I hate the cold! I digress. What I’m trying to say is that this also hinders my time at the gym. After working all day it’s a real struggle to get all bundled up and packed for the gym to head out in the dark to drive 20 minutes to the gym. Excuses – right? Anyway, a couple weeks ago I received a trial membership to FitnessGlo.com – and it’s been great because I can workout right here in my office!

Here’s the class I chose today. It had a “step class” cardio vibe to it – which was a nice change from my normal routine.
I was suprised that I was still burning about 100 calories every 10 minutes. That’s how I know if I’m working hard enough – If I haven’t done my 100 in 10, then I need to kick it up a notch! Here’s a tiny clip of the workout I did (I had footage of me workout out but I’m not ready to show that yet!):
I really wanted to do that BOSU one but I need to get a BOSU I think to have the full effect! I watched it though so it’s showin in my completed workouts. It looks like an awesome workout for those of you who have that tool at home.
So there’s my secret! I may not be at the gym everyday right now but I am working out – I promise! How do you workout at home? DVD’s, YouTube, Blogs? What’s your secret?
*This is part of a campaign for FitFluential and I am being compensated for my time. My thoughts are all my own.*

I hate winter time, because I also feel like it’s cursed and I never workout. This is the first winter I have ever continuously worked out! It’s not terribly cold in Atlanta so I’ve finally sucked it up for a few runs outside, but I’ve started doing yoga DVD’s, some P90x, and I have a bike and an elliptical at home. Between all that I’ve been able to add some variety..I get major cabin fever staying inside too long!! Good luck!
