Karma.

It’s been a whirlwind few days around these parts. Where to start….

On Sunday evening Kevin was driving home and got in a car accident – not his fault and no one was hurt thankfully. That being said it should be noted we drive old-ish cars. His was a 2003 and was paid off – making no car payments for us (yay!). The downside to this is that his car isn’t worth much to anyone but us. Long story short we heard back from insurance today and the car is a total loss. The damage outweighed the value. Sad panda over here.

So now we are faced with finding a new car and rather quickly. A few months ago my mom traded in her nice SUV for a minivan to tote around her dogs, our kids, and for long trips. I happened to check out the dealership she used and noticed a car that looked like hers….it actually was her car and it has been there for months…waiting for us? maybe? You see we wanted to buy that car from her but couldn’t afford it, now the dealership has it as it’s a bit cheaper making it somewhat more affordable! This makes the whole buying a car unexpectedly thing a little easier to handle. So it’s leaves me to wonder…is this Karma working it’s twisted magic in some way? Makes you think doesn’t it!

Monday the postman was kind with all kinds of goodies – one being the new jacket and shirt I ordered from Breathe Athletic. A nice parcel makes me forget about all the crappy things that happened just a few hours before!

Karma? I think so!

I love this little package that came with the jacket and it’s message made me stop and think for a few minutes. I then did a little happy dance when my new jacket which I have been eying since before Christmas (see my Gift Guide) and finally went on clearance and I was able to snag it in a large – FIT! A size large – that’s big news people. Last winter my clothes were a 2-3x, now a large! If this thing with my moms old car works out I think I will give the coin to the car salesman for being so helpful – he’s put a sold sign on her truck for me until I make up my mind <3!

Monday I was supposed to make it to the gym in the evening but it just didn’t work out. The days events were to crazy and I don’t care if that sounds like an excuse. I chose to relax and de-stress at home instead which I believe can be just as good for you as hitting the weights or treadmill for an hour. Now if this became a daily thing – then I’d call it an excuse and kick my own ass!

On a random note I made an awesome juice for breakfast! Seriously juicing gives me such a zip in the morning – it’s fabulous!

So – long winded post. Karma, think about it. <3
